This Service is located on the land of the Cabrogal people of the Darug nation, who have lived in the area for more than 30,0000 years. There are many sites across the area that are recognised as sites of Aboriginal historical significance and hold great cultural value.

 The service boasts new and modern facilities and is fully equipped with Montessori resources. The Scandinavian styled service is spaced over two floors, allowing the toddlers and pre-schoolers their own environments. They work with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.   
They are looking for passionate Educators to join their team with either a Montessori background or an openness to learn more about their program.

This is a great opportunity for an:
  1. Educational Leader / Room Leader – Pre-School room
  2. Assistant Educator – Pre-School room
  3. Assistant Educator – Toddler Room
  4. Part-time Float Educator – across the service

About the Service:
  • We are looking for passionate Early Learning Educators to join a beautiful, welcoming, family-run Montessori Service near Wetherill Park.
  • Small service (29 places sitting at about 60% Utilisation)
  • 2 rooms –
    • o Toddler Room - 2-3year old – max 10 children
    • o Pre-School Room – 3-6years old – max 19 children
  • Beautiful calm environment with engaged children and offering practical experiences
  • Family-run service that focuses on Educator wellbeing seen with wonderful benefits
  • Owned by an ex-Centre Manager who ‘gets it’ having worked in a range of ECE roles and services herself

Educational Leader / Room Leader for the Pre-School Room
  • 4 hours off the floor per week (opportunities to increase when service increases occupancy)
  • Diploma Qualified
  • Full-time position | 38 hours per week
  • Flexible working arrangements example of shift times: 8am-4pm & 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Looking for someone who is experienced working with Pre-School aged children
  • A background in Montessori is desirable but not essential
  • Experienced Educational leader with a passion for implementing developmentally appropriate programs
  • Hourly rate $26.66 (negotiable based on experience & qualifications)

Assistant Educators
  • We are seeking 2 full-time Assistant Educators (one for the Toddler room & one for the Pre-School room)
  • Cert III qualified
  • Options to do full time hours in 4 days
  • Shift structure ranges from 10-6 & 9-5
  • Looking for Educators who have a willingness to grow and develop their professional practice
  • Experience with Montessori is desirable but not essential
  • Wages $23.67-$25.26 (negotiable based on experience & qualifications)

Part-time Float Educator
  • We are seeking a part-time Educator to join the team and work across the whole service
  • 6 hours per day | 30 hours per week
  • Cert III qualified
  • Wages $23.67-$25.26 (negotiable based on experience & qualifications)
  • Passionate educator who enjoys working with different age groups, & different educators across the service

  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Learning Environment
  • Educational Leader/Room Leader: A Diploma or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
  • Assistant Educators & Float Educator: A Certificate III or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework.
  • An understanding of the EYLF: Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia.
  • Have values that align with respect, encouragement, and care.
  • Someone with empathy and patience.
  • Someone that has a natural affinity for children and a genuine desire to nurture their development.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Possesses current ‘HLTAID004 or HLTAID012- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Possesses current ‘CHCPRT001- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.

COVID-19 Vaccination:
It is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021.
