More about this incredible Service: 
  • Large - sized Service – Licenced for 120 children.  
  • Purpose Built Service over 2 levels;  
  • Downstairs: Babies and Toddlers – open and bright space with home-like rooms, bi-fold doors that open to an outdoor learning environment with a veggie garden, permanent water play stream, mud kitchen, play equipment, rabbits, and guinea pigs. 
  • Upstairs: Pre-School – open kitchen, climbing wall, chickens and a parrot, large veggie patch, cycle path, home like rooms and a classroom for the transition to school program, abundant resources. 
  • Chef who cooks healthy and nutritional meals available for children and staff, with children encouraged to participate in cooking. 
  • The organisation is small and focused on professional development and levelling up their staff.  
  • Very supportive team and organisation, as educators are cared for and valued. 
  • Strong connections with the community, as the Service participates in a lot of community involvement. 
  • 40 hours per week can be done either in 4 days of 10 hours each, or 5 days of 8 hours each.

About the Roles: 
A Nurturing Infant Specialist – ECT, Babies Room 
  • Early Childhood Teacher Qualified (will consider those working towards) 
  • Preferable: you are a mother if you are applying to be the Room Leader for the Baby Room. 
  • Full Time Position | 38 Hours/ Week Adequate programming time off the floor  
  • Must have caring, nurturing nature with a positive outlook  
  • Great Communicator to team, families, and children  
  • Be insightful to the needs of the community, and the families. 
  • Looking for longevity in a Centre 
  • You are a positive role model for children and other staff members. 
  • Have a natural affinity for children and a genuine desire to nurture their development. 
  • Have values that align with respect, encouragement, and care.
  • Someone with empathy and patience. 
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing the EYLF. 
  • Possesses current ‘HLTAID004 or HLTAID012- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain). 
  • Possesses current ‘CHCPRT001- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain). 
  • Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.

  • Able to engage all staff members in the planning cycle and encourage educators to make regular contributions to programming and other aspects of the Service. 
  • Possesses current ‘HLTAID004 or HLTAID012- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain). 
  • Possesses current ‘CHCPRT001- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain).

An Enthusiastic All-Rounder – Certificate 3 
  • Certificate III Qualified

  • Experience in a similar role is desired

COVID-19 Vaccination: 
It is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021.
