We are seeking a passionate and experienced OSHC educator to join this wonderful service in Double Bay as their Assistant Coordinator & Educational Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OSHC educator to learn, develop & grow under the guidance of an knowledgeable and practised Coordinator.
  
As the Assistant Coordinator, you will support the Coordinator in the day-to-day management of the service whilst also facilitating the implementation of a quality educational program.

About you:
  • You have previous experience in a leadership position in OSHC (e.g., Assistant Coordinator, Educational Leader, Responsible Person).
  • You have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework & My Time Our Place learning framework.
  • You have the ability to mentor and support educators to develop their professional practice.
  • You have experience in planning & programming cycles and implementing them in an OSHC service.
  • Experience in developing and implementing a quality improvement plan (or willingness to learn).
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders including, children, families, educators, management team & school community.
  • You are someone who can develop strong relationships with children built on respect, patience & an understanding of child development.
  
Prior experience / qualifications / essential criteria:
  • CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection or willingness to obtain.
  • HLTAID004 or HLTAID012Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or willingness to obtain (1 day training).
  • Experience in an OSHC related leadership position.
  • A qualification in Children Services and/or School Aged Care is not essential but will be looked upon fondly.
  • Proof of full vaccination status against COVID-19.
