This family owned service is part of the picturesque South Coast of New South Wales, conveniently located just over an hour's easy drive south of Sydney are seeking an Early childhood Teacher to join their team. As the ECT you’ll be part of a team where family is treated as an extension of our family. You’ll be the lead Educator of the Preschool program, Monday to Friday 8 am – 4 pm.

About this role
  • You’ll be the Lead Educator in the Preschool room.
  • Full Time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 2 hours per week are allocated towards program planning.
  • Leadership experience, supporting the team in achieving quality outcomes for children.
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice.
  • Willing to negotiate salary for the right candidate.
  • You'll be supported with your NESA Accreditation.
 Are you an ECT who is?
  • Nurturing and empathetic.
  • Creative to teach an age group that learns through arts and crafts, storytelling, body movement, and educational games.
  • Flexible and patient, our youngsters are still growing and developing and at times operate on their own schedule.
  • A good communicator, you can articulate what you mean so the child will understand?
  • Enthusiastic and have a love for teaching children to help shape their world.
  • Either a Graduate including those holding provisional or conditional accreditation /registration or a teacher with proficient accreditation.
  • Has an engaging personality, someone who is approachable making our children and families feel part of our community?
About the service
  • Supportive structure Director | Assistant Director | Lead Educators and Educators.
  • The average attendance is 26 children per day.
  • Professional development is encouraged.
  • Collaborative approach in providing the Early Learning curriculum.
  • Childcare Management software Xplore and Playground.
  • Long Day Care, Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool program.
  • Operating hours,  7 am – 6 pm.
  • Meeting NQS, Approved places 31.
  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications.
  • Current ‘HLTAID004 or HLTAID012- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current ‘CHCPRT001- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid NSW Paid Working with Children Check.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination status. By applying, you understand this requirement and have the required document.
