About the role:
  • Assistant Coordinator Position in Kellyville
  • Permanent part time position – 35 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts + Split shift allowance

About the service:
  • Service licensed for 180 children – approximately 100 children attend per day
  • This service operates on school grounds – own space with inbuilt office, kitchen and plenty of storage for resources
  • Access to a variety of outdoor play spaces

  • Collaborative culture within team
  • Service has great rapport with school community – collaborative approach to behavioural support strategies
  • Service management structure:
      • Coordinator
      • Assistant Coordinator / Educational Leader

      • Fluctuating casuals on attendance according to service needs
  • Service hours of operation:
      • Before School Care – 7:00am-8:15am
      • After School Care – 2:45pm-6:30pm
      • Vacation Care – 7:00am-6:30pm
      • What your shifts will look like:
        • Monday to Friday 7:00am-9:30am | 2:00pm-6:30pm

  • You have leadership experience in the OSHC industry or Early Childhood Service OR BOTH! Porque no los dos?

The Essentials:
  • Highly Desired or willing to complete: relevant Qualification in childcare or teaching - Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Required: Experience in OSHC or ECE setting
  • Highly Desired: Experience leading a team of educators
  • Highly Desired: Experience in Inclusion Support
  • Current ‘CHCPRT001’- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
  • Current HLTAID012’- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
  • Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.
  • Child Safety –We are looking for someone who understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination:it is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021
