About the role:
  • Coordinator Role in Kellyville 
  • Full time position – 38 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday morning and afternoon shifts
  • Mix of block and split shifts
  • Fantastic opportunity to lead a team of educators 
About the service:
  • Service licensed for 180 children – approximately 100 children attend 3 days per weeks, and 70+ on the other days
  • This service operates on school grounds – shared and own space, own office space and kitchen 
  • Collaborative team environment - young and vibrant team of educators, ready to learn from a driven leader 
  • Service has great relationship with school principal who is very approachable and helpful

  • You have leadership experience in the OSHC industry or Early Childhood Service OR BOTH!
  • You are a driven leader
  • You are understanding and supportive
  • You are passionate about mentoring and fostering professional growth
  • You have a positive attitude
  • You have excellent communication skills – this role will require to speak to all stakeholders on a regular basis
  • You have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place Frameworks
  • You have a natural ability to engage educators in professional discussions
  • You are enthusiastic about implementing a planning cycle and encourage educators to share their ideas and contributions
The Essentials:
  • Highly Desired or willing to complete: relevant Qualification in childcare or teaching - Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Required: Experience in OSHC or ECE setting
  • Highly Desired: Experience leading a team of educators
  • Highly Desired: Experience in Inclusion Support
  • Current ‘CHCPRT001’- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
  • Current HLTAID012’- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
  • Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.
  • Child Safety –We are looking for someone who understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination:it is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021
