About the role:
Full time role – 38 hours per week
Leadership position as a qualified Responsible Person
Monday to Friday block shifts
10% above award wages
Mixed position | On and off the the floor – spend time with the children and participate in experiences as well as participate in admin duties

About the OSHC service:
Service is licenced for 135 children – on average 80 children attend

Hours of operation:
Before School Care: 6:30am-8:30am
After School Care: 2:30pm-6:30pm
Vacation Care: 6:30am-6:30pm

You have leadership experience with an OSHC/OOSH or Early Childhood Service

Must be able to facilitate an inclusive and structured program that is tailored to the needs and interests of the children and community.

You strive to facilitate the learning and development of children through all aspects of the Service.
You are able to engage all educators in the planning cycle and encourage them to make regular contributions to programming and other aspects of the Service
The Essentials:
Highly Desiredbut not needed: relevant Qualification in childcare or teaching - Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Required: Experience in OSHC or ECE setting
Highly Desired: Experience leading a team of educators
Current ‘CHCPRT001’- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
Current ‘HLTAID012’- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain- 1 day training).
Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.
Child Safety –We are looking for someone who understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
COVID-19 Vaccination:it is a requirement in NSW that any ECEC (and OSHC) staff across the state must receive two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by 8 November 2021
