Educational Leader | Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) | Pymble Location

Come join this fantastic centre located in Sydney's upper North Shore who are looking for an Educational Leader to join their established team.
  • Full time position, 38 hours per week.
  • Split shifts for work life balance.
  • Well Above Award, $70K + super (fantastic rate for a third in charge position).
  • Own space within school grounds.
  • Positive approved provider is a NFP parent committee.
  • No Vacation Care, but still paid for full time admin during the holidays.
About the role:
  • This position is for an Educational Leader to join a large OSHC service.
  • This position sits below a Corodiantor and Deputy Coordinator. Both of which are passioante on OSHC and experienced in what they do.
  • Educational Leader for the service with plenty of admin time to complete this important role (as well as great support in the team and resources).
  • Plenty of admin time provided as the centre runs before and after school care & no vacation care. The holidays are paid for to catch up on admin so you can always get ahead and keep on top of the workload.
  • Assist the Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator with the overall management and administration of the service.
  • As the Educational Leader, the position is very child centred - program for the centre to help maintain a range of spontaneous, fun, child driven activities that capture both the interests and passions of the children.
  • Gain valuable experience working with primary aged children and further develop your career.
  • OSHC is guided by a positive play-based Framework (curriculum), with a focus on social and emotional development of children.
About the centre:
  • Located on school site, with own premises.
  • Established and energetic team with a positive workplace culture.
  • Approved Provider is a volunteer Parent Management Committee whose main priority is quality for the children and they recognise and value their Educators at the service.
  • Approved for 200 places.
  • Supportive school and community of the OSHC service.
  • Work alongside & be supported by an experienced Coordinator who has achieved an Exceeding rating at a service & is passionate about OSHC.
Who are we looking for?
  • Someone that is enthusiastic in what they do and has a desire to work with children and positively influence their world.
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Understanding of the NQF and all it encompasses - NQS, Framework, Regulations.
  • A good communicator that can adapt to conversing with a variety of stakeholders (families, children, educators, etc).
  • CHCPRT001: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection.
  • HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting.
