About the role:
A full time, 38 hour per week position working split shifts of before and after school care.
Term Time position, which leaves the school holidays free to enjoy or there is plenty of work available at other local services. With this above award rate, it's like being paid for 52 weeks a year but only having to work for 41 (that's 11 weeks off!).
Shared Nominated Supervisor position with the current Centre Manager.
Assist the Centre Manager to lead and manage the day to day operations of the Centre on the floor and with admin tasks.
Work with a play based framework, My Time Our Place, that focuses on the social and emotional development of children.
Training highly encouraged & paid for.
Social team with once a term brunches paid for.

About the centre:
Own space within school grounds.
Approved for 125 places, however runs at 75% capacity.
Supportive school with a great relationship & supportive community.
CCMS program used is QikKids.

Approved Provider is a volunteer Parent Management Committee whose main priority is quality for the children and they recognise and value their Educators at the service.

Play! Someone that can actively supervise and also get in and play - sports, arts, activities (all the fun things).
Someone that is enthusiastic in what they do and has a desire to work with children and positively influence their world.
Flexible, patient and reliable individual.
Someone that can work in a changing environment (children are lots of fun and can keep you on your toes and change day to day).
A people person who is happy to work independently when off the floor, but can also jump back in to working with lots of people when on the floor - other educators, school staff, families and the children.
Passionate about making a difference.
Understanding of the NQF and all it encompasses - NQS, Framework, Regulations.
A good communicator that can adapt to conversing with a variety of stakeholders (families, children, educators, etc).
CHCPRT001: Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).
HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (or willing to obtain, 1 day course).
A Working with Children Check applies to this position.
