Out of School Hours Care (OSHC / OOSH) Coordinator – Picton Area



This multisite leadership role is ideal for an experienced leader, who will be overseeing two OSHC services in Katoomba and Lawson.

• This role is perfect for someone returning to the Education and Care workforce or studying toward a qualification for a career working with children and young people.

• Finally a roster, that fits into your personal life, for example Monday and Friday in Lawson 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm and Tuesday to Thursday 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm in Katoomba.

About the service
• In Katoomba the OSHC operates After School Care only providing education and care experiences up to 25 children.
• In Lawson the OSHC operates Before and After school care providing education and care experiences up to 45 children.
• Both services don’t operate during vacation care; however, you’ll have the chance to contribute your skills at another nearby OSHC service during holidays.
• Our ideal candidate is adaptable and possess excellent communication skills, naturally you build positive connections, and hold a desire to connect communities.
• You have proven experience working with school age children or in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• You understand compliance, ensuring the service meets the national quality standard.

Child Safety: Looking for an individual who understands, adheres to, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (The Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

Requirement Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Vaccination (double Vaccinated).
Completion of Approved Child Protection Training or willing to obtain
