Services have already been required to have these risk assessments developed:
- Emergency and evacuation
- Regular transportation of children
- Excursions
But from 1 Oct 23, services have been required to develop the following risk assessment, which in turn are to be used to develop corresponding policies and procedures at the service:
These risk assessments must address certain matters, which means a generic risk assessment template won’t meet the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
